Intro#
Coming out of Luoyang, heading west, to Zhengzhou and Kaifeng.
Shaolin Temple on Song Mountain#
Just finished climbing Mount Laojun and found mountain climbing quite interesting. One of the Five Sacred Mountains, Song Mountain, here I come.
After looking at the pagoda forest, there are still many steel frames standing, not sure if they are for repairs or fixing, not very aesthetically pleasing.
Had a buffet meal at the temple, 3 dishes and a big bowl of rice, enough to fill the stomach, but there's really not much oiliness.
The performance of the Shaolin monks (which requires payment), sitting in a big tent, had to find my own seat, could only sit at the back, the experience wasn't very good, personally I don't think it's necessary.
Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden#
The Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden is similar to the Luoyi Ancient City, but after all, it requires payment. There are many acrobatic performances, interactive scenes, and iron flower forging, which are very enjoyable and worth visiting.
It is said to be the only worthwhile attraction in Kaifeng, the entrance fee is relatively expensive, but worth a try.
Zhengzhou Erqi Square & Da Yumi Building#
It seems that there isn't much to do in Zhengzhou, so I just went to Erqi Square and Da Yumi Building for a stroll.
Outro#
Next time I come to Zhengzhou, I'll explore "Only Henan".
